Within The Lines – TCCC-TIER 2: COMBAT LIFESAVER (CLS)

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA) Joint Trauma System (JTS) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield.

• TCCC Combat Lifesaver – Tier 2 (TCCC CLS) is a 40-hour course for non-medical military personnel being deployed into combat. Download TCCC CLS course materials.  All CMC instructors are eligible to teach CMC and CLS. All CLS instructors are eligible to teach CLS and ASM under the guidance of a full TCCC-CMC course coordinator. All CMC instructors are eligible to teach CMC, CLS, and ASM. All CLS instructors are eligible to teach CLS and ASM.
